The 2026 ISC A.G.M. will be held, by Zoom, at 16.00 hours GMT on Saturday, 5th December 2026, when nominations for Secretary and Members’ Representative will be considered.

The ISC membership has received details on changes that the Committee has made for the collection of membership subscriptions for 2027. Reminders, requesting payment, will be sent out after the standard subscription fee has been confirmed at the A.G.M.

India Post issue no. 241 has been uploaded to the ISC Website, where it can be accessed by ISC members, and the PDF has been sent for printing

The ISC Committee has agreed that any ISC member who pays their 2027 subscription by 31st January 2027 will be eligible to receive a free copy of the ISC Handbook, series 3, volume 2, “The Sacred Cow Issues of Bundi” by the late Ray Benns, updated by John Warren, which was published earlier this year. This is a beautifully-produced book with most of the illustrations in full colour, which would cost $25 if purchased from Amazon in the USA, for example. Members have been informed how to claim their free copy

The data from Jeffrey Brown’s original works, “Indian Air Mails” and “Indian Air Mail Postage Rates Until 1956” are available to purchase on memory stick or by download from the Air Mail Society India Foundation

At a Zoom display meeting on Saturday, 10th October, a presentation on ‘Foreign Postage Due’ was given by Max Smith. A recording of this presentation will shortly be available to ISC members on the ISC Website

Six ISC members received a total of 12 awards for their exhibits at NAPEX2026, which was held in McLean, Virginia, US, from August 28th to 30th
